I’m Alex, the founder of Beacon Health Navigation. I’ve spent years working inside the healthcare system as a nurse, and I’ve also spent my life navigating it as a patient. Living with Cerebral Palsy has given me a firsthand understanding of how confusing, rushed, and overwhelming care can feel — even when you know the system well.
That dual perspective is what inspired me to create BHN. I’ve seen how often people are left to make complex decisions without clear guidance, and how much stress comes from not knowing what questions to ask or what options truly exist. BHN was built to change that experience — to give you clarity, context, and a steady guide you can trust.
As BHN expands, you may hear from others on our team, but our mission won’t change. We’re here to offer clarity, context, and a sense of steadiness as you move through your care. You should never feel lost in the process — and you won’t have to.
One thing to note, I am an RN and advocate first, and website designer and coder second, the latter is definitely not my forte, so please forgive any clunky design and please email me with anything that looks wrong, not appearing right, or not working and I will fix it as soon as possible! Thanks!
