A yearly PCP visit is a great way to keep your health in check, just like taking your car to get an oil change or heading to the dentist to have your teeth cleaned. It helps you reflect on your health in the past year, and it keeps your PCP updated on how your are doing. That way if you do get sick or have an accident in the next year, all your information is up to date and in the system when its needed.
Up until very recently, I would walk into my yearly PCP appointment blind and would get home and realize all the different things that I forgot to ask the provider. Having a checklist ensures that you have all your questions answered as well as updating your PCP with all the most recent information about your health.
As always, reach out with questions, I'm here for you.
